Support Mechanism of the Center's Support

1.         Support for individuals already rehabilitated or trained
 
Support shall be targeted at those who have already been trained by public or private training bodies, and who hold recognized specialized qualifications (such as graduates of universities, colleges and institutes of the general organization for technical education and vocational training, and institute of public administration), provided that the candidates satisfy the job requirements but need training for the initial stages of the job. In this case support shall be provided as follows:
 
1.1 Support during the training period 
  •       The fund shall provide the employer with SR500 per month towards each candidate's training. The SR500 shall be paid for no more than three months during the period of training. The employer shall beer any remaining cost.
  •        The fund shall provide subsistence allowance during the training period equal to 75% of the employee's salary, provided that such a subsistence allowance does not exceed SR1500 per month and continues for a period which does not exceed three months. 
1.2 Support during the post-training period 
  •         The fund shall provide 50% of the employee's salary for the two-years period following the end of training, provided that this contribution does not exceed SR2000 per month. 
2.      Support for those who have not already received rehabilitation or training
 
Support, in this situation, is targeted at those who have not already been trained and who do not saisfy the requirements for the jobs for which they have been nominated. In such cases, support shall be provided as follows:
 
2.1 Support during the training period
 
A.     Training provided within the employing organization: 
  •        The fund shall contribute SR500 per month to the employer towards each candidate's training. The SR500 shall be paid for no more than twelve months during the period of training. The employer shall bear any remaining cost.
  •         The fund shall provide a subsistence allowance during the training period equal to 75% of the employee's salary, provided that such a subsistence allowance does not exceed SR1000 per month. The employer shall bear any remaining cost.  
B.     Training at a recognized external-training agency: 
  •          During the training period, the fund shall contribute 75% towards the cost of training for a period not exceeding 24 months, provided that this contribution does not exceed SR1500 per month for each employee. The employer shall bear any remaining costs.
  •         During the training period, the fund shall contribute 75% of the employee's salary, provided that this amount does not exceed SR1000 per month for each employee. The employer shall bear any remaining costs. 
2.2 Support during the post-training period
 
The fund shall provide 50% of the employee's salary for one-year period following the end of training, provided that this contribution does not exceed SR2000 per month.
